In our partnership with churches, we have found that it works best to identify a church member who is committed to bridging the gap between Elizabeth House and their congregation. Consider making the commitment to this important role as church liaison and reach out to our Director of Programs at terryb@elizabethhouse.net for more information.
The Need for Housing
When a mother is ready to leave Elizabeth House, we make sure she can transition into a stable living situation. However, due to the lack of affordable housing in LA county, it is consistently a challenge. If you have a way to help meet the housing needs of our residents upon their graduation from Elizabeth House, please reach out to us.
Support by Giving
Monthly Giving
Women in our residential program are fully supported financially during the duration of the program. This full support while in residence includes therapy, case management, holistic care, and basic needs. Consider how your congregation or church groups can consistently sponsor the different facets of a woman's time with us; your generosity makes life-changing care possible.
One Time Gift
If monthly giving is not currently a possibility for your congregation, one-time gifts are an incredible way to make significant impact. A unique aspect of Elizabeth House is that we are in it as long as it takes. This means we support our women and their children through a variety of alumni support services. These services include case management, therapy, community groups, workshops and scholarships. By giving a one-time gift, your generosity helps to create a lasting legacy of change for our families..
